okay, i know everyone knows of rcbs's warranty service but they have really outdone themselves this time. i recently contacted them about some replacement parts and also asked about where to get a new decapping rod assembly for a 6mm die that I got a case stuck in and bent. Well package shows up and they sent me a new decapping rod free of charge. Makes me real happy i decided to go rcbs in the beginning

gwindrider1Lyman has treated me that same way! Good folks!

swheelerRCBS and Redding both have excellent customer service, none finer. Lyman has jerked me around a couple times, so I sold what lyman dies I had and replaced them, some with Lee dies and of late Lees customer service has been pretty good.

DoublessI had one event with Redding and will never own a piece of their equipment ever again... I ordered a decapping assembly for a 308 Norma Mag sizer from them. What I got was something for 35 caliber. I sent it back to them, and what I got, when it was right, was for a charge of $18 plus $6.50 to put it in a puff mailer. No thanks!
RCBS, on the other hand, has always treated me like a king. Everything on my loading bench is green as a result.
just my $.02...

I'm glad, happy for you.
But RCBS wouldn't even SELL me a replacement body for my rusted .260 sizer, as I had asked! Nice lady said they would replace the broken decap pin but wouldn't replace my bad sizer AND that I would have to buy an entire set, NOT just the single die I needed. (She did send me the pin.) I simply told the nice lady, "No thanks, I can beat that price locally."
Then I bought a new Lee RGB die set instead. They work just as well and cost me much less. And Lee might give me "free" decap pins too, if I paid for them up front, like RCBS charges. ??
Actually, I think ALL our makers stand behind their products pretty well but none seem to be perfect nor entirely consistant.

Allan DeGrootYou think RCBS is good?
Just wait until you buy something from Dillon and break a part....
Dillon doesn't just send you the part they generally add some other small stuff (consumable parts like primer tube tips) and they FedEx it to you...
I LOST some parts called them up and they were off the phone before I realized that they never asked for my credit card information, they just sent me the stuff.
Then out of the blue I got a package... the necissary parts to "upgrade" my owder measure to the new "Safe" standard, again FREE.
I use RCBS whenever possible for single stage stuff and most of my rifle reloading
but I won't ever consider buying a progressive from anyone other than Dillon.
