Quality brass
I received 100 rounds of Nosler 25-06 brass yesterday and ran some measurements on a sample. Wow!

Weight variation: <2 grains
Total Indicated Runout: <.002"
Length variation: <.001"

This is better than most of the Lapua brass I've used, and far better than Federal, Remchester, etc.

The price was just over a buck each, about the same as Lapua. I got it from Sinclair International, which is now owned by Brownell's. Service from both companies is excellent.

I actually thought Nosler brass was 'select' Norma. Are they actually making it themselves?

I've had 6 neck splits out of a 100 from nosler brass over the course of last years shooting. None had over 3 reloadings and not high intensity either.

That being said, I still like the brass, however.

I doubt that Nosler makes their own, and Norma is a pretty good guess for source. Regarding split necks, I have no idea of the brass make-up, but I am surprised. I use a lot of Norma brass and never had a problem.
