The only powder I could find for my 3030 in the gun shop was Norma 202. My question is could this powder be used for reduced loads lika 15 -17 grain loads for plinking in 3030 caliber?. please give me your opinion .TIA

I wouldn't use it, it's a slow powder in that cartridge - Norma's minimum load is 29.9 gr with a 150 gr bullet.
A buddy of mine uses N 110 for his plinking loads w/ a cast 170 grainer, don't know how much or what velocity. Recoil in his Winchester is close to nothing though.

Danny PayHej Mats
thanks for the hints. I was not sure of 202 as you said itis a little bit too slow.I am waiting for a mold 160 grain and I hope I can reload some reduced loads . I asked norma I hope they'll send me some information. I like norma's clean powder. i may give a try to vihtavoury(if I am correct)powders . I've no experience of them.

VihtaVuori is the correct spelling... I keep an empty bottle by the 'puter so that I can be sure to spell it correctly!
