Anybody else realize they've accumulated a buttload of supplies and equipment? I've got to build more storage. More work wasn't the plan when I started this.....

They don"t go bad with age. However it would cost a fortune to buy the powder to shoot them all.

Having 'em isn't a bad investment. Although it isn't a great one either. Bottom line is prices are easily going up 5-10% on bullets and casings ea year. This trend won't stop as the economic boom in Asia takes more raw materials.
I'm an avid bowler. The other day I sold a ball that was barely used on E-bay that I paid $150 for brand new. I got $20 for it. The same week I sold a reloading tool that I paid $20 for 3 years earlier......I got $19 for it.
Most of our tools arent' a bad investment. Most of us would get about 75% or better out of our used scopes, dies, etc etc. Bullets are another matter.....if you liquidate on E-bay you'll probably get about 50-60% of your money back. Still.....I've had hobbies that do much worse than that....like that bowling ball.

yup....my bullet supply is about three hundred pounds, powder about 40 pounds and somewhere in the neighborhood of 40,000 primers.....you'd think I wouldn't need any more.....but I will be buying some 9.3 bullets soon!

Partner, don't take this the wrong way, but I'd say its high time to head outdoors and begin burning up that stash of yours. Too many bullets means too little range time and there's only one way to fix that!

Bullets are like Hostess Twinkies; they have a shelf life of 1,000 years, and they aren't getting any cheaper.

We just bought a house, and I have been getting all my reloading stuff packed up. I am always surprised on how much is stocked away.

take heart - when you go up before the pearly gates and st. peter asks you how many gun and how much ammo you left behind, you'd better give him a big big answer. If you didn't have enough guns and ammo it will be obvious to him that you're no fun and he'll send you down to that other place where all they do is play golf
