Anyone use Tubbdust?

Anyone use this stuff? I know some folks dismiss such things off hand, but I really hate cleaning copper fouling. There are many powders out now that have copper fouling reduction additives. However, some of them, like CFE223 are getting hard to get. It would be nice if one could make the likes of BLC-2, H335, and 4895 have CFE properties.

Could be rubbish, I suppose, but I doubt that David Tubb would put his good name behind it were.

dpcdAnother solution looking for a problem; I always find it amusing to see guys get paranoid over a light copper coloring in a barrel.
Not talking about heavy copper fouling, which is actually rare.
Over cleaning barrels is counterproductive.

whb309Dropped by Dave Tubb’s facility in Canadian, Texas. Got the Tubbdust sample and used it on rifles that had a propensity for copper fouling. Cut the copper fouling dramatically. I’m a believer!

Bill/OregonThis does not apply specifically to the decoppering agent David Tubb sells, but I tend to trust Vihta Vuori in matters of powder formulation.

I’ve read that, starting a few years ago, all of Vihtavuori’s rifle powders contain a decoppering agent. VV’s powders are quite expensive for my budget, but there is no denying their quality.
