However there is no disputing that Hot Core (and Steve Ricciardelli) no longer participate for their own reasons.

Threads like this one, started by 'fanboys', are pointless in that the person they miss is the one who has walked away.

BTW, we all know that participating in an internet forum exposes you to people who are likely to rub you the wrong way. A thick skin comes in handy.

Some people are know-it-all blowhards; some people are ne'er-do-wells. 99% of the participants fall in between the two extremes.

Interesting post George S,

“Threads like this one, started by 'fanboys” and “Some people are know-it-all blowhards”. Let us count the posts over the years.

You have been a member since 2001 and have 12,506 posts, interesting, I’m sure all those posts were unmatched wisdom from upon high.

I, on the other hand, have been a member since 2003 with 2,013 posts. I wonder who the Hell is the “Blow hard”?

I have a couple DIY projects that instead of sharing as a thread I PM'd to members that I thought would use the info instead of throwing mud as a usless poj that nobody needs

Mick,

I admit not all my posts were unmatched wisdom but a very high percentage were made without bloviation.

A thousand posts a year isn't much for a regular member, let alone a moderator. We have members who do that in a month.

As for your level of participation, maybe you don't have that much to contribute to the conversations around here.

1 K posts a year, you need a life. 1,000 seem excessive. I don’t have time to read them all let alone respond to them. Hope you get paid.

Goerge,

By the way, thank you, my original question was answered within the first 3 posts. People like you turned it into a 4 page thread.

Hey, I called Hotcore a friend. He never dumped on me but he sure was fiery!

As for me, I look for and see the positive qualities in folks and most folks do have plenty of positive qualities. I admire quite a few posters here and elsewhere.
