muygrandeLoading the 35 whelen and 338-06?
Do you find when loading for these two calibers that given the same bullet and powder, for instance a 250 gr A Frame and H4350. Would your loads for the two APPROXIMATE the same amount of powder or would the 35 require a grain or two more, as a generality only. For instance 59 gr for both or 59 for the 338 and perhaps 61 for the 35?

Winchester 69As a generality, the larger bore is able to more efficiently utilize the pressure generated. To achieve the same velocity, it would require less of the same powder. That said, you probably would find that the two guns preferred different powders for that same reason.
