Hot Core200gr Hornady SP in a 350RemMag. It is a tough bullet and will not do well Lungs-to-Lungs. Include at least one shoulder(both is best) and it is an awsome Deer, Black Bear and Hog killer.

Alberta Canuck250 gr.Winchester Silvertip from the .358 Winchester ahead of 45.0 grs. of Gevelot RP-3, and Winchester 120 primers (Now called LRP's). Good cartridge & bullet for any North American hoofed animal. A little more frangible than I would choose for large bears.

phurley5308Sako ----- I shoot two .358 STA's and my bullet of choice is the North Fork. Three sizes are produced the 225, 250 and 270 grain. I normaly use the former two for North American game and the 270 grainer did the job in African on plains game. That said, my son and I have taken several Elk with the 270 grain North Fork with excellent results.

Good shooting.
