.35 WSM or SAUM
Has anyone heard any rumors about Winchester or Remington offering their latest short magnum in .358? I know of a few wildcats out there.

An article about the Remington Short Mags mentioned that Art Wheaton, the Remington honcho apparently running the program, is fond of the .358 bore, and suggested a .35 SAUM is possible. I sent Mr. Wheaton a typed letter with my opinions, and urged him to consider SAUMs in .257 and .358.

Big Iron Thanks for sending that letter. What is the address for Mr. Wheaton? I too, am interested in the short .358. That would be an improvement on the 358 Win and 350 Rem Mag. I would like to build a 358 on one of my Remington M-600s. I could use my HS precision stock and interchange the barreled actions as needed per size of quarry sought.

I'd like the address as well. Could you post it on the board for all interested parties?
