I've loaded 1000's of Hornet ammo over the years using WSR, CCI BR-4 small rifle, Remington 5 1/2 small pistol etc. Today I happened upon some Remington 1 1/2 small pistol primers and bought a couple hundred to give a try. Question is..what's the difference between the Remington 1 1/2 and the Remington 5 1/2 small pistol primers. Rem's web site didn't tell me much. Appreciate your help.

1-1/2 is small pistol, 5-1/2 is small pistol magnum, in Remingtonspeak.

You will like the results using the Rem 1 1/2's.
