I am heading to Africa in JUN. It will be for big plains game, Eland, Kudu, Gemsbock, ... Any feedback for handloads centered on the Swift A-Frames for a 375 H&H?

The .375 H&H is a lot of rifle for plains game and the A-Frame is an excellent bullet.

Load the bullet that gets you about 2,700'/sec and have at it.

On the assumption that the bullet (A-Frame) is a 300 grain, you might not want 2700 ft/secs. But it is an excellet choice in the .375 H&H. I used it on my first Safari.

The 300 grain Swift A-Frame will work well. My wife and I have used it on everything from Impala to Cape Buffalo, with a couple of bears in Alaska. The thing I like about the 375H&H is it allows you more latitude to take going-a-way shots.

I reload mine with RL-15 powder (good accuracey & velocity)

Sounds good guys. I was specifically looking at a load combination for the 250 gr Swift A-Frame. I have reload data for 235, 270, 300 grs, but nothing for the 250 gr. I could probably back out the data, but if anyone had an accurate load for the 250 gr, I would appreciate the help.

Joe I would start at 70 grains of IMR 4064 and work up from there. I think my load is 72, but I do not have my records available here.
