graycg358 JDJ Reloading data, especially from Handloader
Greetings,
I have a 358 JDJ barrel on the way and am looking for some reloading data. I understand that there was a good article in Handloader #153 from Sept/OCT 1991 with data. If anyone could send me some data or scan it in and email it to me, I'd be happy to cover your expenses. If you have anything, please let me know at
graycg@aol.comthanks and regards,
Graycg

Bob CA lot of the data which has been published in Handloader is posted on:
http://www.loaddata.com/There is a subscription fee, but as much use as I've gotten, it's been a bargain for me.
Another source is SSK. J.D. will send you his data upon request.
In my barrel, I found that lighter loads with AA 2520 gave me erratic velocities, and poorer accuracy. When I kept the loads at 2100+, accuracy was good, and the recoil and blast were significant.
I've had good luck with IMR 4895, loading "down" to 1900-2000 fps. I tried IMR 4198 and did not get good results.
Hornady 180 SSP and 200 grain SP's have done well for me, also the 225 Nosler BT's.
