QuintusBlC2
I have heard that Hodgen BlC2 is horrible for fowling in the AR platform. Has anyone had problems with this powder? My gun loves it so far, but I don't want problems down the road.

416TanzanHodgdon has released something with almost the same burn rate as BLC2, it's a powder called CFE223 and it's specially designed to prevent copper fouling.

StonecreekThe AR platform is very poor for fowling, and is even illegal for migratory fowl like ducks and doves.
Regardless of the AR's inappriateness for fowling, I haven't found BL-C2, nor its spec twins WW748 or WC-846 to be any worse at fouling than any other powder.

Same here. I find seagulls to be rather foul.

StonecreekQuintus: Thanks for being a good sport! Sometimes I write things like that in jest and it gets taken the wrong way. I can't tell you how often I find that I've used the wrong spelling for similarly pronounced words, to.
