125gr pointed bullets from 30/30

Anybody have any data, performance with this type of load. I have a clip fed 30/30 and wanted to know if a 125gr pointed bullet would peroform out of the 30/30. Any info is much appreciated.

You should get around 2500 with them. Just go to any reloading manual for drop ect.

I tried it with a 340 sav using 125 gr nosler BTs . I seated them as deep as I dared and they wouldn't feed properly. Those old Savages were set up for RNs.

I have a Rem 788...I will try seating them and find out if they feed...
