necking .243 Lapua brass up to .260 Rem
Any reason not to use Lapua brass in my 260 Rem? Any issues I should be aware of when necking the Lapua .243 Win brass up to 260 Rem?

Nope, I do it all the time w/ a tapered expander in a Redding die.

I do the opposite - necking down Lapua .308 brass to .260. This lets me turn the necks for better concentricity. Not certain it makes much difference but it makes me feel good and the M700VLS shoots tiny groups.

Nothing is always true but necking down tends to work much better than necking up.

I kept creasing the neck when trying to neck down 308 Lapua, so went the other way. There is very little brass displaced in going from 0.243"-0.264".
