Finally Got Our 9.3x64 and 404 Rifles
Ladies and Gentlemen,

Some of you might remember that we bought two custom rifles, both based on teh Sako 75 action, one for the 9.3x64 and the other is for the 404 Jefferey.

Both sport 25" barrels.

I am going to start load developmentf for the 9.3x64 first, as I have all the components for it.

I will do the same for the 404 as soon as I receive some bullets.

Don,

Our biggest problem is TIME!

Of course, you have to take into considerattion our human "moneky wrench", who seem to be causing more damage than usual lately!

Yes, Don, really tough work Saeed got to do all the time.

Saeed, keep us posted about the results, I am really interested in a .404 myself. What bullets are available?

You know, "de gustibus non est disputandum ...", and I dont say Sakos are bad, but the .404 CRIES for a Mauser.

Too expensive ? :-))

good shooting! Hermann

Saeed,
My 9.3x64 should arrive the end of next week so I am really interested in your load development for this caliber. It is on a CZ 550 action. Thanks, Cobalt.

Saeed,
What about the 338 RUM? Did you ever finish that one?

SAeed,
For top velocity in the 404 J. use IMR-4831, start at 90 grs. and work up to about 95 grs.

All else is piddle in that caliber, RL-15 is next best.
