Count me as one who'd like to try GS bullets, but on the other hand, one who doesn't want the hassle of international orders. I'm wondering if there might not be a bunch of other folks in the same boat. I've heard rumor of a US destributorship, perhaps a large show of hands might help push that along.

Paul H,
If I had the wherewithal to do it, I would be that distributor.

Count a vote from me for sure.

BTW, I will be in Cordova, Alaska in the early February ball park it appears. Great little community. I will look you up when passing through Anchorage if at all possible.

A U.S. distributor would be great. Until there is one, the only drawback to ordering direct is time. I have had no problems getting my orders at home or the post office.

I have ordered bullets from GS Custom for some time and there is really no problem. Just don't order for the hunt next month. They are an outstanding bullet and worth the effort of ordering from the web site.

The problem with a distributor is they will not want to stock the full line until an order pattern is established.

I will continue ordering mine directly from Gerard at GS Custom.

I have a friend visiting SA in January and he is going to bring me back a bunch if he can find them. I can't wait to give them a try.

Ron,

The range will be open then, just make sure you have a Wed or Fri free, and we can hit the range. I'll be sure to cast up some more 460 grainers for the 480

I just email Gerard, and forget it until they arrive, not that much of a problem and sure worth the trouble to get those nice FN solids. I have been using the HV's all season and lending my gun, still havn't got a bullet back.

Yes, I have been ordering the HV's from Gerard, and I have tried to get the shop I work at while not hunting or attending classes to stock them. The Hv bullets are great, I haven't used any of the others, yet. I think a US distributor that would cut down order time to a week or so would really be nice. I think if more shooters could experience what they can do sales would really take off here in the US. With Gerards dealer plan someone could almost compete with Barnes XLC bullets in price, with a order of $500 or more, and of course the HV performance in most guns, would be much better then Barns X's.

Regardless of whether or not they are brought to the states, I plan on trying some this summer. I want to get a Chronie first though.

Add my yes vote to your total!

I'd love to try the 160 HV's in my .300 RUM.

Saeed brain washed me, now I'm using Monolithics again, but the GS seem to do exactly what Gerard claims, Saeed has not taken me into the fold of BarnesX, at least not yet.

I really like those GS bullets...and love, I mean really LOVE dem solids wit da flat snout.

Count me in. While I have never used them the FN solids intrigue me. I have taken game with my .45 Colt using LBT style cast bullets, and it is impressive. The concept between the two reasons to be the same. Although, I suppose I will order some up for My .416 Rigby regardless of a U.S. distributor or not, as I plan on taking my first trip to Africa very soon!
