rl andersonBL thanks I didn't think of them. Unfortunately it's not available there either.

B L O'ConnorThat's too bad. I believe it's still made, but in seasonal runs, by the Win and maybe Rem. But if you're willing to pay, Hornady makes it and
Midway seems about to receive a shipment (it's overdue). The down side it's expensive. The good news is that it's of very good quality.

rl andersonI'm on the notify me when it arrives list of several of the mail order places. I used Hornady brass for a 7mm-08 I had built and couldn't find anything else. 100 cases will last me a long time.

StonecreekWhy not just run some .308 through a .300 Sav FL die, trim, load, and shoot?

rl andersonI don't have brass for a 308 and that isn't available either.

B L O'ConnorHopefully, the Hornady brass will show up fairly quickly.
I've
read elsewhere that the process of forming .308 into .300 Sav. may or may not go smoothly, but it clearly has been done successfully many times with no problems whatsoever.
I've never done this myself, but I
did read what looks like a reasonable way to approach the problem, with a caution that the reformed brass might be thicker than original .300 brass. If so, it would mean decreased case capacity and backing off starting loads.
Just FWIW.

rl andersonI have heard that as well. The only problem with that is you need a supply of 308 brass which I don't have either

When brass becomes available again I'll stock up in a big way.
