a buddy wants me to reload some 30/30 using the leverloution bullets havent been able to find them anywhere. can they be bought? Where?

I believe Hornady sells those as Flextips.

I bought some of the 200 gr FTX at Bass Pro. They also sell them at Midway, etc.

As mentioned they are called a 160 gr FTX for the 30-30 and I've seen them available from several stores including Midway and cabela's.

Many moons ago, I'd load spitzer bullets in my 94, I'd have one in the chamber and one in the magazine. After a while, I realized that what I was doing was trying to turn my 30-30 into my 30-06, and it was never intended to be a '06.

I am sure there are people out there who will have a niche these bullets will fill, but I never truly could find one.

Anyway, I am interested to see how they work out for you.
