264 Winchester loads with Reloader 25 powder
Has any one used reloader 25 powder in the 264 win mag ? I usually use H-870 but it is no longer for sale.I shoot 140 gr Nosler Partitions , 140 gr Remington corelocks and 155 gr Lapula bullets. Those 155 gr Lapula bullets shot 1/2"group at 200 yards by the way.I have had very good results with the H-870 but I am going to have to switch after my 5 pounds of H-870 left is gone.I thought reloader 25 would be good 264 win mag powder.

Never tried RL-25, but RL-22 is excellent.

RL25 is excellent for the .264 WM. For 140gr bullets, start around 63 grains and work your way up.

Try VV24N41....75 grains MAX...start at about 72.5-73 and work up in your gun...with a 140 grainer. In my 24" Remington Classic I get about 3125 fps with the Barnes 140 XLC and Nosler Part. Great powder/bullet combo. I may try the RL-25 load for giggles to see how ir compares. Good luck.

I E-mailed Aliant,"sorry but we haven't tested it yet with 264,but it should work well, use RL-22 max as starting point".

I am kinda trying to narrow down my powders to about 4 powders.I Use the reloader 25 in my 338-378 and hopefully my 264,reloader 15 in my 416 rem mag and win 296 in my 32H&R mag,41 mag and 454 .And I have a bunch of Morma MPR powder I have from 416 weatherby I deloaded.Powder is a pain in the butt to get period in Alaska and its about $10 a pound more than else where.I wish I could get a keg or two up to Alaska but dont know how to get it up here!!!!!!
