338 Lapua Improved?
I am looking for load data for the 338 Lapua Improved using a 225 grain bullet. The XLC Barnes would be best , but any data with a 225 would be a help. I guess even data for a 250 would be a starting place. My roommate is just finishing his rifle, and only has a couple of weeks for load development before taking it to Wyoming. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Vince

i WOULD highly recomend a call to barnes.
BUT--I asked quickload to take that bullet to 63,000PSI in a regular lapua case (they have no listing for improved). It came up with the following which is only for consideration and comparison to other sources.---96.0 I 7820////95.2 re22///
100-101 of h1000 or re25. In a regular lapua these loads are thought to do about 3150 fps. Good luck

and ask. Steve Shelp has one. He's one of the moderators at that site. Other members may also. Tell 'em you were referred from this site. If they don't post here, it would be good to get more "crosstalk" going.
