Wolf Large Rifle primers
Does anyone have any experience or opinions on these primers. If I get any they will be used mostly in a 243 and accuracy will be a primary goal. Thanks

Never had any problem with them. They do not seem to be quite as hot as CCIs.

I don't like their ammo, but the primers have been great.

I have had good luck with their products, and FWIW their rim fire target ammunition is superior when compared to others in the same price range. When I can shoot 96's or better offhand I'll buy Lapua, but until that day comes I'll buy Wolf and SK. Don't confuse all of their products with the fire & forget lacquer plated paramilitary ammo.

Their primers are not anything like their ammo. Many bench rest shooters use them. I use the SR mag for AR's in 6.8 and 5.56 with great results. Cup hardness is good to go - SR is a bit soft.

I've used 2 5k lots of LR primers and they have been as good or better (producing same or better groups) than Fed 210.

I've tried the LR mag primers and they are no where near hot enough for 300 or 338RUM. I also tried them in 7Rem mag w. W760 and had a bit of a delay in ignnition. So I think the LR mag primers SUCK!! \

Don't shy away fromt he SR mag or the LR primers.

I think there is even mention of them being good to go on 6mmbr forum.

I use 'em in my Palma rifle and get SD's in single digits with them. VERY important when shooting a ballisticly-challenged 308 at 1,000 yards!

The regular LR work great. The others I have no experience with.

I've used both the small rifle mag and large rifle primers and they work great for me. These days you use what you can find. IMHO I rate them equal to Federal and Winchester Large rifle primers.
