hglassTriple Beam Scale
I'm looking to buy a triple beam scale for my reloading. I have used digital scales but I'm not happy with them. Can anyone recommend a triple beam scale that has grains as a readout. All seem to have grams.

Idaho ShooterWhile it is not a laboratory type triple beam, I heartily recommend the RCBS 10-10. It has good magnetic dampening, and serves as its own storage container with the included plexi dust cover. The weight adjustment for grains and tenths is on a very neat screw adjustment which locks to prevent it accidentally moving. This model is usually priced about $120.
I purchased mine locally, but it is listed at Midway and Graf & Sons.

Silverfoxat Gunstop Reloading Supplies, Inc. John Walton, the owner, is a very good fellow to deal with. If you don't see what you want on his Web site, just call him and ask. He can usually round it up for you. His prices are very good and his service is second to none. Here is the order number for the 10-10 scale. I just purchased one from John about 2 weeks ago. Very nice scale. Here's a link to the Web site showing the RCBS products. The scale is about 12 to 15 lines down from the top.

lawndartI have found myself going back to my 10*10 scale lately. That price at Gunstop is good. I'll second John's service. It is the best in the business (and that is saying a lot).
