250-3000, & .222 load info and range report.
beer .250-3k, mod 200 Stevens, Shaw deep troated barrel 10 twist.Win. cases #34 primers
  • 75gr. FP.Speer, 35.3 grains DP74 , oal=2.387, 2925 to 2975 fps.mild, some soot, not bad but not great.

  • 75gr. FP, Speer, 35.9gr. DP74, oal=2.387", 2950 to 3013 fps. ,3" 5 shot group @ 200yds.

  • 90gr. FBhp. 34.2gr. DP74., oal=2.610", mild, soot, 2816 to 2920 fps. 5 shot 1/4" group @ 50 yds.3 shot 2" group at 300 yds.

  • 110gr. HP Berger, 33.3gr. DP74, oal=2.663", primer a little flat, some soot, 2653 to 2725 fps.4 shot 1/2" group at 50 yds., 1 1/2" group at 300 yds.

  • 90gr. FBhp., 36.5 gr. WCC846, oal= 2.612", 2901 to 2925 fps. primer a little flat, 4 shot 1/2" group at 50 yds.

  • 52gr. FBHP Berger, 22.1gr. 8208, FC cases, wsr. primers, oal=2.242", 3010 to 3079 fps., 3 shot 3/8" group @ 50 yds., 3 shot 11/2" group at 300 yds., 3 shot 2" group at 400 yds.

    No but this is! Yesterday at the range a fellow had a scope forward mount on a 7.62X54. The scope was huge for any scout scope I'd ever seen mounted. He said it was a variable but was having trouble. When he changed settings the blacked out perifory changed size. Confused bewildered. I look through it and saw what he meant. The next thing he said was " Oh shit I have it mounted backwards". I think he blushed all day long. rotflmoroger
