loading differences, straight wall vs bottleneck
what are the major differences, in equipment and procedure between the 45-70 and bottleneck style cartidges?

I've only loaded one type of straight walled rifle cartridge, but, I'd like to slightly disagree with Steve R.

There is usually one extra step in straight walled cases. And that is to use a seperate die to expand the case mouth. This die should be included in you die set.

Other than that I don't know of any differences.
