JasonRneck tension/ bushing dies
I recently started using redding bushing dies for a 6BR and my choice for the actual bushing was right on and plenty of bullet grip. Using the same brass for the third time I set up a set of wilson dies with the same size bushing but got the dreaded drop through with the bullet. This brass was neck sized in these new dies and I even tried reversing the bushing with the number stamp facing down. No luck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

243winxbThe neck wall thickness could have thinned from the 3 firings. Are u neck turning and NOT using a expander button?

JasonR243winxb,
I am neck turning; I just examined the redding bushing die that I initialy used after the first firing and found that I did not change the standard expander to the smaller one supplied in the box. With the wilson dies the conventional expander is eliminated. Live and learn !

Andre MertensIf I were you, I'd skip expanding buttons when using Redding bushing dies.

JasonRAndre Mertens,
I won't be, the smaller one is not an expander it just holds the decapping pin.
