Will it stabilize at sub-sonic velocity?
Howdy all!

I have a Savage 223 with 1-7 twist and am interested in loading some of the several hundred 70gr semi-spitzer flatbase bullets I have with Trailboss.

The bullets in question vary by about .005" running .795"-.800". Will these long bullets stabilize in the fast twist at subsonic velocity?

Thanks,

Andy B

I would have said "probably" with out the formula.
