Handloader Magazine Article on 32 H&R Magnum Reloading?
Did Handloader Magazine ever do an evaluation of various powders and bullets for the 32 H&R magnum? I can request the back issue if I know the publication date.

Something's awry here.....

A decimal, perhaps?

I have handloaded 32S&W Long, the parent cartridge, to 32 H&R mag levels.

1) After a lot of work ups and fooling around, I came up with these two loads I like:
a) 6.5 gr 800X 85 gr Hornady, 1.29"
b) 13 gr LIL'GUN 85 gr HNDY, 1.29"

2) This is very close to the book load:
a) "Hodgdon 2001" 32 H&R laod 1.29", 85 gr HNDY HP, Federal 100, 5", 12 gr LIL'GUN 1263 fps 16.8 cup

I would warn you that small load changes in a 32 make big changing in pressure. Work up in tiny increments and pay attention. It can go from wimp load to flat primer and stuck case in one grain.
