Hard #2 Alloy Lead
I've come into some ingots of this kind of lead and was wondering how good/desirable this metal is for bullet casting. Thanks for your input.

It's a fine alloy for most purposes. Was Lyman's general standard for many years. Expensive nowadays because it uses a lot of tin.

#2 alloy is what most, if not all, mold manuf. use to calibrate the wts. of their molds. So fire up hte pot & cast away.
