How much velocity do you get out of your 300 winchester magnum, bullets like 165 and 180 grains
Had various 300 Win Mags. Never broke 3100 fps with 180s and a 24" barrel. Used 4350 (all) 4831 (all) 7828, RL19, RL22, H1000, AA3100, and maybe some others.

<Eagle Eye>Using 73 grains of IMR4831 and Nosler 180's, I clocked 3180 average out of my Sako 75 SS in 10c temps. There were no serious pressure signs so I could have exceeded 3200 fps if I had wanted to. Based on the accuracy I was getting, I settled on 71 grains that averaged 3100 fps.
