neck sizing dies ....
I have always used the Lee collet dies for neck sizing my 223 brass, I use RCBS for all other reloading tasks. Now I am venturing into 7mm TCU territory and Lee doesn't make the collet neck sizing die for this ctg. The RCBS dies specified for neck sizing only, Are they carbide since they are only sizing the neck meaning they need no lubrication?

Buy a Hornady New Dimensions Neck sizer in 7mm. They fit all 7mm's. You will have to buy seprate for short and long action but still it beats the hell out of buying a die for each chambering or getting custom.

Those look good but do the case necks have to be lubricated when using these dies?

Probably. I use graphite myself.

I sent Lee a check for them to make me a custom collet sizer for 223 Rem AI. They refunded the difference and sent me a die for the regular 223 Rem saying the neck collet was the same for both and a custom die wasn't needed. Send them an email inquiry. Maybe you will luck out too.

Yes, thats what they told me for 30-30 and 30-30 AI ... but this is 7mm TCU ... the "parent cartridge" scenario doesnt apply for this one!
