A good hunting solid in .338?

Do you know any good solid round nose in .338 caliber besides the woodleigh?

The only other solid I know that is still produced is the Barnes 250 gr Super Solid. Speer dropped their 275 gr African Grand Slam.

Check out GS custom. They make a 250 gr. FN solid.

Mea culpa! Gerard will poke me in the eye. Thanks, Dave! That GS FN is easily the best solid for the .338 caliber IMO.

I have a large stash of old Hornady 250 grain FMJ... lead core, thick steel jacket, copper wash. I have no idea how they perform.
