I was going to local yard sales looking for a cast iron pot to smelt lead in. I saw a box of small pistol primers. When I saw that I knew there had to be more there so I started digging through the boxs and found an RCBS die box with carbide 357/38 taper crimp dies in it. It still had the original price tag of $44.95 on it. The dies look brand new. Now I just need to get a gun that shhots that.

That little trip to the garage sale may have cost you $500....

Yeah, but it was money I was going to spend anyway, it just helped me decide caliber.

Hell I have brought rifle, dies, bullets another scope ect. Just because I had a few range picked up brass I found in a caliber I did not own. Does one need a better reason then a set of dies.

I bought my first .223 because I had a shoe box full of range pick up brass.

Several times I have bought ammo at yard sales I had no use for but figured down the road I just might have one of them one of these days.

I have a box of British .303 that I have NO idea where it came from. I didn't but it, I have never owned a British .303 hell I've never even fired one. But I keep it I just might come across a good deal on a rifle. LOL

i was seperating brass and bagging it and my wife came in the room and asked what gun those were for i said to here i don't have a gun that these will fit. she said why do you have them then i replied same reason i have all these and picked up about 8 other bags full of brass for cals i don't own. i said you never know i may buy a gun that these fit.

then she calls me yesterday while im at work and asks if i have any 38 cases. i said why yes i do why. she says my dad has a 38 and i just shot it a few times and i like it and want one. my reply was no problem i can make that happen. this works out well for me since i've been wanting a 357 for awhile now anyway. its win win i will get a 357 and i alreay have about 400 pieces of 38 that i can load up for her/plinking.
