Bullet Drop - .223
Can anyone help me out?
Assume the load is as follows:

77gr. Sierra HPBT-MK
23.5gr. RE-15
approx 2550 fps.

Zero at 100yds - whats the drop at 200yds?

Thanks

Funny, I thought that information was listed in the manuals...

Comes out to -5.11inches at 200yards and -1.64 at 150.

I have found two answers to the question from two data sources. Load from a Disc and QuickTarget(companion to QuickLoad).

LfaD= -5.03"

QT= -4.60"

What this should show (if I may) is you need to load and shoot your rifle to see what IT will do with that load. Ballistic programs and tables are good for general information. But will not be able to provide truely acurate data for your rifle/load.

Thanks for the responses - the reason I asked is because I am limited to 100yds at my local range, but I may go out of town to compete in a 200yd contest. Therefore I have no way of "testing" it for myself prior to competing.

Thanks
