.375 Weatherby Max Case Length?
Per Hodgdon web site, the trim length is 2.85. What is the max length before trimming is needed? I understand that Weatherbys do not require much trimming but I want to check anyway.

I am using RIP's page here on AR in addition to Hodgon's web site. I have only purchased ABCs of Reloading book. Should I get another book? Many do not cover this cartridge.

Thank you

My old Weatherby catalog shows max length at 2.86". If your interested though,Sinclair sells a "chamber length gauge insert" that will tell you the OAL of your rifles chamber. Just measure, subtract .024",and you have the case trim length for YOUR rifle.
I'll see if I can locate some reload data.
