eezridrWinchester Brass: 7MM rem mag
Anyone see any WW 7MM Rem Mag brass around?
I have a note into Winchester as I have not seen any in at least a year.
Looking for about 50 empty new cases or once fired factory cases.

TexKDThere hasn't been a lot of WW brass but there was some new Win brass out there. I think I got mine from Gunbroker but it was indeed new manufacture WW brass in the newer bags. I can't say for sure if I got any 7mm Mag from Midway but they did have other Winchester brass.

AtkinsonAbout all Ive seen is .308, 30-06 and 270 in the last two years...I have been told that WW is going out of the brass and component business and concentrating on loaded ammo as its financially a better deal...The source, who is in the know said the best selling caliber brass like 06 and 270 may be a special run item from time to time, that certainly appears to be the case...

Ray BI'm not sure what the deal is on either Winchester or Remington making brass. About a year ago I asked Remington when 375 RUM brass would be available and I got an answer straight out of some PR firms canned replies- it wasn't a significant enough sales item to be in current production and it's status would be re-evaluated at a later date. Sounds like the cost accountants have a secure grasp on both Winchester and Remington.

Bama15I talked to a Remington rep at DSC, he said all their production is going to loaded ammo. He said Obama is the best gun salesman, every time he mentions gun control, up goes sales.

larrysThey made a run of 264 Win Mag brass this year, but the quality sucks. About 20% are not loadable with neck overlaps and shoulder issues. Good luck!
