Loads for 32 H & r Mag.
Sirs,
Reading in one of my reloading magazines I came across loads for a 32 H&R Mag. Magazine is lost any suggestions for loads would be appreciated. I had also came across reference to a .41 special, a trimmed down .41 Rem. Mag. cut to the same cart. length as a .44 special. Does anyone have load information for this?
Thankx
Dick

32 mag 6.5 gr AA& and a 85 gr hornady works well in my S&W 41 special I believe is an old black powder colt round

As I recall the 41 used a 40 cal bullet like the 38/40/ A cast 10 MM should work.
Good luck!

Dick, check out http://www.sixgunner.com for load data on the 41 Special. That was a John Taffin (gun scribe for American Handgunner and Guns Magazines) creation (or maybe just pet). Anyway, John spends sometime and posts on the forum over there I also believe that there is load data for it in there pages. The 41 Special and 41 Mag DO NOT use 40 cal bullets like the 38-40 and 10MM do. They both use .410" bullets. As you probably know .010" bullet diameter difference is enough to make a bullet rattle down the bore. Sean

You can drive the swaged and cast bullets as fast as the jacketed ones and a lot less moola....FWIW.

I like mine....Ruger SA. in .32 H&R It's taken a few coyotes already.
