Belding & Mull is back in business
Those not familiar with this old company located in Phillipsburg, PA(about 14 miles west of me), they made(make) on of the best powder measures, utilizing adjustable drop tubes, I've ever used. They were well known for their precision reloading and cleaning equipment, but unfortunately closed their doors about 8/9 years ago. Heard their first commercial on our local country station yesterday, and gave them a call. The have the powder measures/drop tubes in stock, along with their precision cleaning equipment and some other items. They intend to eventually have their entire old line of reloading equipment available. They're currently working on a website; but for now can be reached at 1-800-342-1800. Local number is 814 342 1800.

Joel: Thank you for the good news! I have LOTS of Belding & Mull cleaning equipment and have happily used it for decades! I find especially useful (necessity) their miniature cleaning kit that fits in a back pack or a small glove compartment or anywhere in game camp (snow country especially!). Love their stuff. I nearly cried the day about 4 years ago when I bent my 22 caliber Belding & Mull cleaning rod! Completely my fault by the way! I will be on the phone next Tuesday ordering a new one.
I was able to bend it back into usable but not quite right condition and will look forward to its replacement.
Thanks again for the info and the number.

A B&M pwder measure has been part of my reloading bench for 25 years!! RCBS, Hornady, Lee, anyone else with maybe the exception of Bud Harrel(from Salem VA) can't match their powder measure for accuracy, especially with long grained, thick grained powders!!! I use an RCBS for the balls and fine stuff but my old B&M gets all the tough stuff!! Glad to see them return!! GHD

Didn't B&M also once publish a reloading manual? Seems to me at one time the B&M and the Ideal Handbook were about the only two such manuals in existence! Glad to hear they are back. Hope they get a web site & print a catalog!!

I typed in www.beldingandmull.com and it took me to a .com site that builds websites. There was a message: www.beldingandmull.com coming soon. Tells me that's going to be their site's URL, and it's just a matter of me typing that in once and a while until the actual site appears.

Wonderful news! Heard from some of the local gunshops that they might be back in business. I grew up in St. Marys, Pa about an hour away an still use their powder measure, cleaning rods and other accuracy equipment almost weekly. Thanks for posting their product list. Anybody know if they will have a retail store? Will be passing through Philipsburg in deer season and could easily get sidetracked.
Thanks
Paul

I can see why they went out of business, their products last forever ;-). I have one of their powder measures and three one piece steel cleaning rods I have used for twenty years or more. They are just as good today as when I bought them.

Some months ago I contacted B&M and asked for a brochure of their product line. They promised to send it when it's finished - didn't get it yet.

Their new powder measure and drop tubes can be found at eBay regularly (measure ~ $ 185).

I got a vintage one a month ago and find it VERY accurate with fine ball powders, but not so impressing with N133 or H322. Maybe I need more exercise.

BTT - what's happened with them?

One reason for asking is I have one of their powder measures for sale (see classifieds).

Also am making some nice brass drop tubes for them @ $19.95.
