snowman358 Win With 200gr TTSX & RL 10x
Would like to try the 200 gr TTSX bullet in my bolt action 358 Win. Would like to give RL 10x a try as well. Not much load data available from Barnes or Alliant. Anyone try this bullet in a 358 with RL10x or any other powder ? Thanks for any input

GAHUNTERUnfortunately, I can't comment on 200-grain bullets of any manufacture 'cause I shoot nothing lighter than 220-grain Speer Hot Cor bullets in my 19-inch barreled Model 600 in .358. With both the Speer Hot Cor and 225-grain Sierra Game Kings, I load 50 grains of Winchester 748, for a MV of right at 2400 fps.
The beauty of the .358 is the velocity is low enough that you get premium bullet performance from non-premium bullets. In fact, you would be hard pressed to ever recover one of the 220-grain Hot Cor bullets from deer-sized game, which is what I like about them.

NakihunterI found the 225 gr Sierra GK the best in that caliber. But a 200 gr TTSX would work well at about 2600 fps I guess.
I am not familiar with Re10. But Re 7 or H322 may be worth a try. I found the old 3031 too bulky & long grained to give max velocity. I could not get the stated powder volume into the Winchester factory cases!

Biggs300Don't overlook Ramshot TAC if you can find it. I've had really good luck using a stout load under 225 grain Nosler Partitions. It proved to be my most accurate combination and I've tried several.
