GreyghostNorth Fork Technologies, Inc. "Back in Business"!
Just heard this morning that North Fork Technologies, Inc. is back in business under new ownership, and is back in production as of the 1st of November.
How is it I haven't heard anything on this sooner?

There really is a God after all. About time we got some good news regarding shooting/hunting. How about posting some more info including a link? Is Mike involved? Geez, I was thinking of going down to SW & pick up some 225 gr. Partitions foe my .338, maybe I'll wait a bit now. Bear in Fairbanks

Phil,
We are excited to tell you we are back in production and starting to take orders. North Fork is manufacturing the same great product everyone has come to expect but made with improved equipment and processes- no compromises. Our initial focus is on the larger calibers to make sure our Africa bound customers have what they need for their big trips.
Solids will be available in approximately 1 month.
As a start-up special, we're offering 10% off all orders for the months of November and December.
A redesigned website (www.northforkbullets.com) will be up shortly listing all calibers available with a new shopping cart feature allowing convenient ordering over the web. But if you just cannot wait (hopefully in a day or two), then please call us. We have much in stock already, except for the small stuff (less than 0.308 caliber)
Regards,
North Fork

Hot CoreThat is great "news" indeed. I've never used one, but I'm sure glad they are back in business for the guys that do need them for what they Hunt.
One of the few Bullets I've never heard anything bad about.

NFMikeWell dang Berry, don't pop a corpuscle

The extent of my involvement will be in the area of consulting; basically keeping them from making all the mistakes that I made to get to where I got to. We also have some ideas on new items but that will stay under wraps for now (R&D ya know). These guys are so much smarter than I ever will be that it is spooky. You can't swing a cat in the damn place without hitting an engineer. They will take it farther and to greater heights than was ever possible from me. I think with their brains and my cussedness, only good will come. I want to thank all my previous customers, nay friends, that I made in the business. Dealing with you folks was definitely the fun part of the project.

vapodogNFMike,
What products do you currently have available?
I need to do some reloading this winter and really want to use Northforks instead of those old crusty, nasty, A-Frames

I personally don't have any. You'll have to call or email the folks listed in one of the posts above. There's a thousand miles between me and them. I do know that they were starting with the larger calibers first. I think they also ran some 308s and there were a few 338-200s left when they took over. Other than that, you should give them a call. Most of the time you will get an answer machine but they will call or email back.

vapodogI received an email recently from the new Northfork folks...polite and businesslike....they're offering a 10% off "startup" sale.....thanks...
They have some .308 cal on hand but will honor the price to bullets not currently available if they are ordered before the end of December.
Prices are up somewhat from the previous offerings and this is likely reflected in higher copper prices....but should trend downward as copper prices fall.
They are still less than half the price of TBBC but more than A-Frames.....and A-Frames is the primary competition.
Northfork meets them head on in quality of accuracy and performance.....and possibly a shade better bullet but the difference is slim at best. One would need a lot more experience than I have to support a statement of one better than the other.
A-Frames have offered me excellent accuracy and terminal performance.....it's the only bullet I used in Africa and I was very pleased. Northforks also gave me superb accuracy and I'm limited in experience with terminal performance but so far they have been superb and others say the same.....
As I see it the new Northfork folks have to meet the A-Frame competition....they are a superb product but 50% more on a premium bullet is not exactly being competitive.
That said.....mentioning A-Frames and Northforks in the same sentence is an enormous compliment to both these companies....They both make the finest one can get and one can pay a lot more for TBBC bullets and not get a better bullet.
