Federal cases
Are Federal cases any good for reloading in .375 H&H? How about Remington and Winchester?

Sako,

I've used the Win .375H&H cases to make 416Rem. It worked fine for that, so I'd assume its good for 375.

Never used the others in 375. I have seen some disparaging remarks about Rem brass lately, but my Remington headstamped 416Rem brass seems fine to me.

All three make good brass. Opinions vary as to which brass is best. For most shooting, not counting custom-necked guns and bench-rest shooters, any of the standard brands of brass is fine.

Your most consistent loads will be from brass that is all the same lot, and having been fired and prepared the same number of times in the reload process.

After about 5 reloads, maybe sooner on the heavier calibers, it's a good idea to anneal the necks to regain some consistency in neck tension on the bullet.

Of course if you're just mostly shootin' and huntin' . . . any ol' brass will be fine. I shoot mixed lots with range pickups in my AR and it shoots right where I point it.
