Anyone have a current Hornady manual?
I'm simply too cheap to buy it myself!

I'm looking for the published max. loadings for 300 H&H using 165 gr. Interbonds and any of the 4350's.

Thanks,
Brian

belaw,
my manual doesn't state "interbonds" but has 4 or 5 bullets in 165-168 grain.

H 4350 max 61.0 grains
IMR 4350 max 64.0 grains
AA 4350 64.1 grains

Hope this helps

Hmmm, this is interesting data. Nosler (#4) list a max of 70 gr. H-4350 and 67 gr. IMR4350 for their 165's. My older Speer manual list a max 69 grains of IMR-4350 for its 165's. Current Barnes manual lists 70.5 gr. of IMR-4350, 69 gr. of H-4350 and 68 gr. of XMR-4350 as max for their non-coated bullets. Interestingly, none of these manuals differentiate between their various bullets of the same weight.

Is Hornady super-conservative on their load data, or is there something about their bullet construction or profile that changes their max charges? What kind of velocity are they posting for these charges?

belaw,

Call Hornady and ask them to fax you their load data for your particular cartridge. It only cost you paper and they are more than happy to do it.

belaw,
If you would like I can copy and fax you the sheet. I don't know how to scan and e-mail it. I'm sure I could find some one who can. Just send me your e-mail. Thanks,Mark
