<Sako308>What is the best powder for this combination?
For a 6 Remington with a 1 in 8 twist and a 28" barrel length, using the Sierra 107 grain MatchKings. I know it isn't Bullseye, so what do you think, and about how much?

StonecreekIMR 7828, RL 25, or H870 would all be appropriate. You might also be surprised what a good load a compressed case full of WC 872 (a surplus powder often available from powder "jockeys") might turn out to be, especially with such a long barrel.

<Don G>Vihtavuori N560, IMR7828, Reloder-22, H4350 all show to be good for that relatively heavy bullet, according to QuickLoad.
That's with a standard cartridge length (COL). Even if you are single loading or have a long magazine, and let the COL go to 3.1 inches, there's still not enough room for the slower powders mentioned above and that heavy bullet. (And I don't mind compressed loads!)
