Which arbor press for small caliber handloads?
I reload for a number of 17, 19, 20 and 22 cal chamberings.

In the past I've always employed the different combinations of Hornady,Lee, RCBS, Redding die sets.

I have recently been investing in Wilson hand dies (221 Fireball, 222 Rem, 222 Rem Mag). I've not yet decided on which arbor press to purchase.

Wonder if youse' guys might relay your thoughts in regards to which press to buy along with opinions of why or why not.

Thanx,

GWB

When I used an Arbor press it was a Sinclair. My magic reason was a very good friend had used one for years and swore by it.

I loaded 100s more like 1000s of rds with it and no issue. I can't compare it to anything else from hands on.

Sorry coffee

As usual just my $.02

I'm wait for my Sinclair to wear out so I can buy the Hart. I got it early 80's.

I have the sinclair and it has been decent. On occasion I have had it difficult to tight it down sufficiently on the on main shaft. Have heard good things on the Hart but have never seen one myself. I think the sinclair is about half the price.

Sinclaire is good as is Harrels.

Harrels has great customer service and really stand behind what they make.

If you ever use one of their measures you will pitch most others.

Another Sinclair. Been using mine for quite a few years for small to medium cartridges where I want accuracy over everything else.
