How do you store your powder??
Thanks to Jay and BR6PPC, I have to go pick up some more powder. My bottle of Varget wasn't enought to start a project with and I never stocked RE15 before. Short story is that I have at least 20 - 25 bottles of powder ranging from 8lb jugs down to pound containers. The question is how to store powder safely and what is the life of extruded, ball and sperical powders?? I'm shooting the last of a couple of jugs of N133 that I picked up in the early 90's so I know that much. As for storage; I'm keeping the powder in a couple of large coolers in a garage. Temperature varies from the 90 in the summer to 50 degrees in the winter. What do you guys use for storage? Thanks, Bill.

I have a large steel office cabinet I picked up for $25 that stores powder. Lots of room and lockable.

I think I have about 50# of powder or there abouts. I store it in an old military foot locker under my stairs leading to the upstairs.

It would. You could even chain the door shut and lock it. As long as you leave enough slack for the door to open an inch.

In a wooden container, (box or cabinet) that offers little resistence should they catch on fire. This container should be kept in a cool, dry environment, and the powder will last longer than you (or I!!) will.
