How temperature stable is H414/W760?
I'm working up a load for my .375 H&H and it seems to prefer H414. Anyone have any thoughts as to how temperature change affects this powder?

TIA

Rick,

Found these by Google:

Based on these three discussion ... I think I'd avoid H414.

Did not look at the links but can offer my experiences with H414 in my 7mm08. I am shooting a load that is well over max and also use a magnum primer which no one recommends. It is extremely accurate I can shoot at at the bench in summer and take it whitetail hunting come 20 degrees or less. Get consistent velocities no matter the temp no noticeable excessive pressure signs accuracy is always the same point of impact never wonders. Will the same be the case in a different caliber don't know. But I do know that numerous people told me H414 was not a good choice and it performs the best of anything I have tried in this particular rifle.

I havn't used it in a big case, but really love 414 in the 308 and '06 cases. Favorit poweder in the .243Win from p-dogs to January coydogs.
