I need to trade a new 1 1/4'' thread, powder though expander Lee die

for the 577 Snider. I need the older 1 1/4" expander dies with the opening

in the bottom that is about .740" ID. Lee brand, The new ones I got measure

about .67" , and they work for loading Snider cases just fine, but are

too small for another project I have ongoing . The factory only has

the ones that measure smaller now. I'll trade for right

size ones, plus add $25.. Need them real bad.Emergency.Ed

Why don't we just bore out the one you have?

The die body is just a carrier for the expander plug. Internal finish is immaterial. Brass never touches the die body.
The Lee expander die body is not hardened; they are soft as butter; no need for them to be hardened.
