please help on loading data for 220gr. Sierra
Match King & Jensen J40 220gr. Starting MOL
and different powders other than H1000 & H870
Rifle is Rem. 700 Sendero SS Fluted 26"bbl.
I am in a bind, need starting loads PLEASE!!!

220gr Matchking starting load.85gr of RL25.C.o.l at 3.675.I use 91gr with the 220.I also have a very good load with h1000.

www.hodgdon.com. Every time I try someone elses loads, they are never accuate. I always have to change something. I have the best success starting from the beginning of recommended loads and working my way up. I tried Sierras "accurate load" from the data they sent and it was way off from my rifles most accurate. They use a better quality barrel and I am sure their thoats are near as excessive as mine.

But here is what Sierra recommends for matchkings. But they were using a 28.5" douglas barrel

RL25 88.6g 220g Matchking

According to the data on the accurate loading page, He seem to got .3" groups with H1000.

Where did ya get the 97.5g of H1000 for 180g bullets. Thats the first place I have seen that hot of a range. I stopped at 96g but best results was 94g anyway.
