Load data from Nolser #5 & latest Sierra book
I don't have Nolser's newest manual, #5 I think. Anyways, I am in need of load data for my new 260 Remington.

Could somebody please give me the max loads and velocities for 100 gr., 120 gr., 125 gr., and 140 gr. I'm interested in the fastest loads for the 100 gr., and the RL19 & H4831 loads for the heavier weights. Please include what length barrel, and what primer type was used in their tests.

Also, I'm getting some 120 gr. Sierra MatchKings, so could somebody tell me the max loads & fps for this bullet with RL19 & H4831.

This would be a huge help, Thank you.

From Nosler's #5--
100g IMR 4064 39-43 grains 3290 fps max. This is their accuracy load in a 24" Wiseman barrel.

120g. RL19 43-47 @2980 This is their recommended powder. They don't list 4831 but 4350 41.5-45.5 2979 fps max. For these powders the 120 and 125 grain data are nearly identical

for 140g bullets H4831 42-46 @2774 recommended.
Good luck with that barn burner!
