Tumbleweed.338 WM / Hdy. 250 gr. RN
I've come into a quite a pile of Hornady 250 gr. RN bullets to feed my .338; does anyone have a pet load for these? I thought I might save some bench time if I asked around...

C-ROYI do not remember the powder charges off the topic of my head but I will look them up when I get home.
I used the 250 gr. RN Hornadies with a reduced charge of IMR 4064 & 4320 to about .358 Winchester velocities for a black bear/deer load. The accuracy was incredible around .5" to .75". The IMR 4320 shot tighter groups than the 4064 in my rifle. The bear hunt did not pan out for this fall but I hope to try the combination in the spring in Quebec.

NBHunter73grains of Rel 22 gave me .8" groups from my Savage. My rifle seems to come up a little under the book amounts for powder though. I've meant to work more with H4350 though for the temperature stability.
